Howdy Folks,

Been a while....

If you could, for all mountain and technical and long day "do all" riding, one bike, what would you pick:

Giant Trance Advanced 1
Giant Trance Advanced 0
RM Thunderbolt BC Edition

I've narrowed my scope to these.  The T-Bolt would have the front fork upped to by 1cm to 150mm.

Thoughts on which bike and why.

Thanks!

Money no object?  I cannot see why I would spend an extra $2800 on the Trance 0 vs the Trance 1.  Likewise the T-bolt is $2200 more than the Trance 1.  Havent ridden any of them, but I thought you were a Giant guy?

Money's always an object, but if it's justified, it's justified...  I'm not big on the Fox kit - flamesuit on - but between riding a couple different rides last season and the season prior, I have to say, the RS stuff performed better and more consistently.  But overall - spreading my scope a bit - might end up with the Giant again - but that T-Bolt BC Edition is getting some lung and limb cats excited.  Seems a good ride - just interested...

Opinions, forums...you know the dance ;)

Peace

Trance Advanced 0 because the seat tube angle is what I prefer.

Trance Advanced 0 and 1 share the same geometry.

Another vote for TB. I tried the 2017 Trance and just didn't like the feel of the bike, felt kind of twitchy and rear end felt harsh and dead if that makes sense? Might have been a combo of longer stem/narrow bars and shock setup.
