buy a patch kit with sandpaper. rught the area with the sandpaper before the proper glue is applied, apply the glue, apply the patch, leave some weight ontop of the tube where it was patched for a while so the patch can dry in to place.

I patch tubes the cheap and effective way, here's how it works: get a tube of Shoe Goo, then find the hole. Stretch the tube and apply the glue to the hole (remember to smooth the glue.) Keep the tube stretched and apply 2 or so more layers (after each one had dried). This works very well and has never failed for me.

when you are dont patching the tire tru putting the tube in the tire and on the wheel before pumping it up, this keeps presure on the patch so it doesent come off, it works for me almost every time…..

You apply the glue, and you let it DRY. Wait 20 seconds let the glue on the inner tube dry, then do the same to the patch, let the glue dry and then connect the two. Be sure to scratch the area of the pinch good, then apply the patch black part up.

If that don't work…Then I dont understand. I had a tire on my BMX with 4 patches….all from CanadianTire, $1.66 for a kit.

I use Specialized Flat-Boy patch kit's. They work pretty well. Rough up the tube, apply patch, squeeze, inflate. poifect.

I like my women like I like my Scotch. 15 years old and mixed up with coke.

Most important thing is to let the glue dry like damian says. I speed the process some by lighting the glue with a lighter and blowing it out right away. I keep repeating the process until the glue is dry then apply the patch. Nice and warm and sticks like nothing else. Also a good idea to make sure your glue patch is bigger than your patch so the edges don't come up.

hey rosco i have a tip for you…
take one of those old tubes and slice er down the middle and cut out the valve
then wrap it around your old tube
better yet do it with 2 one for the top one for the bottom
that way you have double protection from edges
