I ride with bmx riders (no mountian bikers were i am except me) they all have nice bmx bikes, all are worth like 600.00 usd. But then they give me shit all day because I bought a 1600.00 usd bike. (my bighit) and know that i am spending another 2000 dollars on it they are going berserk. I am 15, for someone my age do you think that the 3500.00 bike is exceptionly nice??? I just wanted to hear your opinions so i can show my friends how much u guys have put into you bikes. please state what type of currency.

If you worry more about what others think, get into another sport.

I dont, It just gets anoying. We had a bet and they said that all of you other mb have spent way less than 3 grand on their bikes.

Tell them to go to a mtb store, so you don't have to waste your ride time.

good point, i will just do that. Show them how much a xc rig costs and then show them how much my bike must be worth

its not a competition to see who spent how much, what you do with your money shouldnt really matter to your friends
