some FS frames do work fine as long as the distance between the rear axle and the BB stay the same and u can always just use a chain tug

i would make sure to stick a small cog on the inner end… you will see why. plastic spacers wont hold.

on the lockring end, i'd make sure to still use the smallest cog too, to give the lockring something logical to seat on.

i am really not being articulate, i know. maybe someone else can help. just got back from a ride, and i am pretty bonked…. you know the feeling… whenthe fingers don;t work well….

Yeah, that's a good idea.. if you tighten down on the plastic spacers they will get wrecked. It doesn't really matter, though. Mine are kinda pushed around and they are still fine..

Since the sticky for SS is gone, I'll give you more tips

HORZ = align your rear cog with your front chainring with the spacers on the cassette. then just shorten the chain, pull back to make it snug and tighten it down. you'll need a bolt on hub , or a hammered down QR scewer.

VERT = align your rear cog with your front chainring with the spacers on the cassette. get a tensioning device, like a DMR tension seeker/instigator and run your chain through that and you're set..

did i forget anything? I dunno, it's pretty straight forward..
