Hope cranks

I am running SLX on my trusty hardtail, never had the cash to go for XTR and my immediate thought was "Race Face". Interesting, no? Great longterm marketing and quality. 

Never had Hope on the radar except for lamps, brakes, stems, and flat pedals.

I've got a set of hope cranks going on my hardtail. Quality made but no ride reviews as of now. I'll keep ya posted

I'm running M985 XTR on my Chromag Rootdown. Picked them up for $100 (no rings), second hand, and barely used. Slapped on an NSB 30T ring, and they've been great. Going on their third year of inclement weather riding (the hardtail only gets ridden when its gross outside) without any complaints.

That said, no idea about Hope, they sure look nice though.

I switched over from a RF Turbine crank to Hope over a year ago.

I like direct mount chain rings and I found the RF system to be a bit fiddly and tended to creak on the NDS (might have been the RF BB).

The Hope cranks are bomber and I'm about to purchase a second set for a frame I'm building up.

One thing to note with the Hope cranks is that they come with the tools to install/remove them and that you can go a bit under the recommended torque values when installing (70+ Nm) as they can be a bear to remove if you go up that high on the torque.

They look nice, and I debated them for the G16, but went for a standard crank set instead. Wanted to use my Hope SS BB from another frame on the new frame.  Plus I can swap chainrings between two bikes if I want to now.

I have them on my Darkside.

I like them but I'm not heavy or strong enough to know whether they are flexy or anything. To me it was just a matchy-matchy thing to go with my hubs cuz I'm an asshole like that.
