Just a couple question. Today I got the x-firm spring assembly. Do I just undo the bottom of the left side lower of the fork, and undo the top of the left side and pull it out and replace with the firmer spring assembly??? Do I put any oil in the bottom of the fork?

Well changed the spring. Much better now. Fork rides a lot better without the compression and floadgate cranked. I don't understand why there is 15cc's of fork oil on the spring side, injected on the bottom?

yeah, but then again, it might be useful to the entire bb
send them a pic of you riding their DH RACE bike off the roof of Rochester School…and ask if the crack is really a manufacturing defect.

PM ME!
umm fork oil at bottom? haha not of mine. just greased spring
I had a greased spring and when I finally got the assembly loose from the bottom oil came pouring out. I read the instructions and it said to inject 15cc's of oil in there. Why the oil is there, I have no idea, especially it is just a spring side
I didnt put any back in… my instructions didnt say that… meh
Here is the instruction cut from the service guide for Pike Coil Team/race/SL
31. Invert fork about 45-degress in bicycle stand. Measure and pour (or inject…an oil syringe works best) 15cc of 5wt, 10wt, or 15wt (stock) RockShox suspension oil into both lower legs, through the shaft bolt holes.
Wipe all excess oil from lower leg.
Also after step 38 there is a Oil Chart indicating the same
