OK, so I've got a 32 hole rim on the front of my bike and the corresponding number of spokes laced to said rim.
Given that there are 32 spokes spread out evenly around the circle, there are also 32 holes between said spokes (I counted them to confirm) so assuming all things are equal, with a spin of the wheel there'd be a 1 in 32 chance, or 3.125% chance of stopping at any given gap.
Given this probability, why is it that when I hang my bike on the Whistler Lifts the hook ends up resting on the valve 60% of the time?!?!?!?
