Diamondback Ascent EX, cantis, rigid, green splatter over black, very second hand.  Gave it away after hanging on way too long, have seen it around town as a commuter.

Then a Crescent Brimer, DX v brakes (red, still got them), RS Indy C, STX / LX drivetrain. Been rebuilt so many times as second Hardtail / commuter, but currently just the frame sitting.

Adult lego rules.

I started with a very early 90s Schwinn High Sierra and then went to one of the first Aluminum bikes - some type of Concorde.

Haven't been riding for anywhere near as long as most of you, so my lineage is very short.

Trek Remedy (2010) thinking I'd never ride the bike park.  Rode the bike park and sold it within three months of buying it and replaced it with a 951 that I snapped, then went Wilson twice then YT twice.

That’s funny, mine was an 89 Marin Eldridge. That bike is long since gone. Second was a Brodie Brute I got from The Bike Shop. I think it was 04 or 05. By the time I was done with it, it was taxi cab yellow with dual crown Mr T’s and a 24” double track on the back and Hayes nine’s. Those were the days.

1997 Kona Kilauea SE with Marzocchi Z2 BAM was the first bike I bought. First bike I spent any time on (a friend lent it to me for awhile) was a 1994 Rocky Mountain Equipe with a Quadra 10 fork. Second bike was a 1999 Klein Mantra Race with a SID 100. Back when carbon wasnt even really a thing for bikes, they were making some crazy shapes for their frames.  Long live the URT!

First proper one Trek 830 fully rigid, as I built many frankenstein versions before.

U-brake below the chainstay. Bent the forks twice. Until I moved to an orange clockwork with a Girvin Flexi Stem.

1984 Ritchey Timberline. Jacob pulled it down off the hook for me. Couple three paint jobs later it hangs unused in my brothers garage in P.T.

Had a Dekerff built Off Road Toad. Took it to that plating place at 5/6/7 and Quebec and asked them to dip the rear dropouts in the bath, feathering up the stays. Went get it, they'd dunked the whole fucking frame, cantis, b/b, headtube unpluged..........uuuuuuuuuuuhh!

Mine was a used 1990 Marine Eldridge Grade. Horrendous white splatter paint job. Neighbor painted it Ford Blue along with his truck. Rode the wheels off that thing.

Next bike was a 2001 RM Slayer. In retrospect an amazingly poor bike with horrid components. Loved every moment on it.

Went through two "city bikes" (that's what they were called here back in the days) with the fenders/racks taken off pretty quickly. My first real mtb (saved up for that thing for more than a year) was a '93 Cannondale M800 with a RockShox Quadra. Still have the second warrantied frame (ca. '98) built up, but the Quadra is long gone. After that, a '95 Stumpjumper M2 FS Comp (replaced the Judy with a Mag21 because I never wanted to ride an elastomer fork again). Still own that one, now with the parts from the 2000 Stumpy I bought after whose frame lastet only about year. First full-susser in 2002 (Kona Bear Dee-Lux).
