Same price, same travel. Both have the same adjustability. The new lyric now has separate high and low speed adjustment.

I had a similar choice although it was GRIP2 vs Lyrik. Went GRIP2 only because I’ve been burnt by first release SRAM products in the past. Availability was questionable (reduced offset + 170mm 29er) SWerx servicing hasn’t failed myself.
If it's someone elses money i'm spending, i'd go with the Factory Fox. If it's my money, it's whatever, they both work.
My last three Fox 36x29 started creaking almost right away. I went Lyrik this time and so far so good. Performance-wise they are very close in terms of stiffness and adjustment effectiveness. I love that the Lyrik adjusters have actual clicks.
It appears that these are the two most popular forks but I'm always interested to hear reviews from riders about the others in this category like : Suntour, Cane Creek, Marzocci, Manitou, DVO, etc. Are they the best two out of the bunch?
My Last Fox fork was super creakey also. The Pikes on both current bikes have been great.

Oh, that is interesting feedback. I was all set to be convinced to buy the Fox but creaking is a non-starter for me. If it is going to creak, it always creaks for me. I have two pikes and a dvo and all are silent
In answer to the guy that is wondering about different brands. My DVO diamond is a 29er on my ti honzo. Good small bump but lacks progression. They say you can improve this by adding oil but I did this and still wish it was more progressive. I suspect it would be great for a light or middle weight rider but I am heavy at 230.
Any other feedback would be great but based on what I have so far the lyric seems like it might be the winner
I have a 2018 CC Helm Air. Beautiful fork, all the right adjustments, but Im not heavy or aggressive enough to get the most out of it I think. I have removed all the 'tokens' (the CC equivalent) and I still cant get full travel out of it even running 35%ish sag. Also have to run the HSC wide open and LSC almost wide open to get it to feel OK. Will likely be selling it this spring to get a 36/Lyrik/DVO. I think it is a great fork, but probably just too much fork for me :(
May I suggest buying a Yari (same chassis as the Lyrik) and have some competent suspension service put in a damper custom tuned to your weight and riding style? No idea who would do that in your part of the world, but I'm sure there's someone. Will probably make a way bigger difference than the one between a 36 and a Lyric.

Friend has a Yari on his Specialized enduro. I thought it felt great to ride, kept hearing that it was a crap fork.
