Hi,

Could anyone help me id this Rocky Mountain? I have no more info than the photo. Linkage wise it looks like a Rocky Mountain DH T.O. from 1998, but this was rim-brake only. Color scheme also doesn't match.

Thx

This Rocky catalogue from 1998 might help:

https://www.retrobike.co.uk/gallery2/d/15479-2/1998_003.pdf

It does show the DH T.O. with disc brakes (page 8 in the PDF). It's the DH Race (page 9) that has rim brakes.

It is the DH T.O. Though without better photos of the frame decals couldn't tell you if original decals or copies. As the old 1998 catalogue shows the rear triangle paint is accurate while the front triangle is possibly repainted as it doesn't have the classic maple leaf paint scheme of the 1990's.

Thanks all for the inputs. I got mislead a bit by the following photo of a DH T.O. which shows a blue linkage and no disc mount. Strange thing is the above has a black linkage with a disc mount.

Looking it up I had the 99 Element Race in the optional colourway.

The zip ties on the rear disc make it look like an aftermarket mod.

Insane the Pipeline is listed as 28.5lbs
