Intentionally giving harmful parts advice in the gear forum should be a bannable offense.

For sure.

Brakes will shudder/squeal for various reasons. Your pads may be contaminated. I just had a set of contaminated Shimano pads replaced. They squealed louder than any noisy brake I've heard, and now they make no noise at all.

Your caliper may not be properly aligned. The rotor can rotate between the pads without rubbing, but that doesn't mean the caliper is aligned, and a misaligned caliper can make for some good squealing.

You may also have loose pads; the retention clip may be loose. If this is so, then the pads will vibrate and cause some good squealing.

And ignore the "hayes suck" remarks. I've got Shimano, Avid, and Hayes brakes. When set up properly, they all work very well.

C'mon… even KingofDirtysanchez isn't daft enough to put KY all over his squeaky brakes. :D
See how fast he caught on? Would've mentioned something if he didn't, but was no need to…

Actually, he might, this is STILL partbreaker. I'm staying over at jake's house this whole week. I was'nt going to put oil on my brakes for one second. But "KoD" might have, he did'nt think y'all were joking because "don't they know more then us, reese?"

Rubbing alcohol on your rotors might fix it. Not trying to fuck you up, other people here probably do it.
