give Corey a PM he has some saddle time on them…

i tried his out at Whistla for a tiny bit..

intially i think the Hayes lever bladde is still unconrtable to my finger but at with the way Corey had his brakes set the lever feel was more "squishy" then hayes of old… which is a GOOD thing…

i still think the lever bodies seem tiny adn fragile, but time will tell…

power didnt appear to be a issue as the brake locked the wheel with ease..

i'd liek to spend a day in teh park on em to be honest..always good to try new gear…

I've heard mixed things coming from a few people who are on the new Norco DH's. One says they feel great, another compared them to the old Hayes stoppers, on or off, they look pimp though.

ive spent a fair bit of saddle time on my brothers (05 iron horse sunday WC)

bulk power and in my opinion they ruled… they seem to be really easy to use one finger wise and have a shit load of power. they feel "racey" like the lever feel is light and he has them set up a fair way in and meh i dunno… i liked them id take them over my hayes mags any day i reckon.

All the brake levers with the little dials on the front seem fragile--Juicy 7 and El Camino.

My Hope levers are hacked up on the front edge of the MC---seems like the same abuse would destroy that dial…..

yea my hopes levers have taken a beating too and only once have i needed any repairs or servicing and that's on the old pro lever with the mod dial. I love my hopes and i'm leaning towards the hope mono minis for my next build here. i was just curious about the el caminos as a possible alternative.

Word is that the hyd. lines are sold in precut lengths. Cannot cut yourself to measure. Is that true y'all?

just like hafx9 lines, fittings are pre pressed on, so it is like 50 bucks for a rear hx9 lines, hopefully cheaper for the el camino's lines..

o yeah, i heard the entire first line of el caminos were recalled, dunno why but that could change some peoples minds about them, i personally would love to have some, but my hfx9's will be maguras soon.
