hi. can anyone tell me who can give my rear hadley hub some loving in town? change bearings and all. mine's as crunchy as an old underwear.

I've had mine serviced at Lynn Valley Bikes, new bearings ect., they did a great job.

Troy at Maple Ridge Cycle has a tool kit for rebuilding Hadley hubs , they are not too hard too do i have done mine and with the right tools it,s a easy rebuild .

Bearings are dead easy to replace. Get bearings at a local bearing shop or enduro fork seals. Changing using a socket takes all of 15 mins. You need a fairly wide cone wrench to get the caps off.

yeah i've done them before but i kinda have no thumb to use at the moment. thanks for the suggestions. any place w/in the city (vancouver)?

21mm I think, at least on my old Hadley. Had to grind out a 20mm cuz I couldn't find a 21mm anywhere.

Ditto. I used the grinder on two 18 cone wrenches to get the proper width. I still have two Hadley rear hubs, the cone wrenches and extra bearings. They may not be as sexy as king, but they are wicked for durability. My rear Hadley hubs are over ten years old.
