Any recommendations for a particular type of grease for repacking bearings. I have in the past used Phil wood grease but finding it a little too thin.
Suggestions?

I tried all the bike stuff, Phil, the white stuff... spider-shit? Can't remember it's name.
Now I just use the marine grade tubes you get at any Lordco or wherever and haven't noticed a difference.
(Still have a tub of slickoleum or nutbutter or whatever the fuck it's called for when I change the oil in my lowers)

Rock N Roll Superweb grease is the stuff Reductimat is talking about. Ive use it on all my bearings for a number of years and it works well. It kind of has a stringy property to it (thus the 'superweb' term) that seems to stick well in the bearing races, but isnt too thick.

I think I got my locally but cannot remember from where.
Superweb is great, it rolls super fast and being white you can tell when it's contaminated and time to repack.
Great. I will keep my eye out for it
where you can get superweb locally?
