Hey guys,

I have a GoPro 4 and a Samsung SJ5 mobile. While it is possible to watch the videos via the Capture app, my mobile is unable to play video files that I downloaded onto the phones SD card.

I have no effing clue what to do but it is really annoying.

Can one of you guys help me? Did you have a similar issue and have you found the solution?

Try mx player or vlc. If it still doesn't work in mx player, you can install codecs within the app. I don't play gopro stuff on my phone, but mx player has helped me watch movies on my phone.

+1 on the VLC media part.

Are you filming in "protune"? Sometimes I've had issues with playback when I've filmed in that setting.

Thanks for your replies, I will give it a shot.

Apparently the reason is thyt my phone might be unable to deal with the camera file's resolution. Too high.

What class is your micro SD card? Could be running into a read/write issue with the size of GoPro files...

If you've got the available room try moving a clip to internal storage and see if that works
