Hey all,

Does anyone have any saddle time running Goodridge or Nukeproof brake pads with their Saint brakes? If so, how do they compare to Shimano's?

Thanks!

I always ask myself this same question everytime I pick up a set of new brakes, but almost always stay with the stock pads after trying a few aftermarket pads that underwhelmed me. Usually a bit more expensive but why skimp on brake pads?

Not on Saints, but I've used Nukeproof on my Primes and have been pleased.

Using Superstar sintered pads on my M785s and M985s. As good as stock pads, last just as long if not longer and usually on sale for dirt cheap in a 4pack. Avoid the organic/resin ones though, I didn't like them at all

I've also had good success with Clarks pads on Shimano SLX (both resin and sintered)

using the nukeproofs on saint 810's. saint pads were squealing like crazy(metal and resin) and heating up and this was breaking spokes. screwed a new wheel. changed to nukeproof and will stay with nukeproof. they work great
