I've used one once in a pinch, but doesn't the cold air freeze the sealant?

I use very hot soapy water (not boiling) lather on with a clean paint brush. Then work the bead into place by hand, or close as possible… begin rapid floor pump. Success!

You could just use it to seat the bead then let it out and pump it up with a normal pump

spread the beads against the rim by squeezing the tire tread

take a piece of 3/8ths rope and make a Loop that just goes around the outside of the tire

put a wrench or screwdriver in the loop and wind the loop of rope down on the tire tread which will spread the beeds against the rim then inflate with the floor pump
