Or heated grips are another option… not cheap though.

jcl is an a$%$# clown the rest thanks for the input.
the reason I need gloves is I have a heart problem and resulting blood circulation to my hands but still want to ride
That is a serious issue.
Do heating packs on the back of your hand work?
Why slag free swag?
ummm, as your doctor i recommend against riding with a scaphoid fracture.
Or buy some fat claw style motorcycle gloves and then put them on the heater for 15minutes before going out. That really does help!
Try a very thin glove and then a ski glove. I have some Gordini gloves that are not bulky and keep my hands warm even when road riding at sub zero temperatures.
Carbon bars and soft grips also help.

My experience with motorcycles is that heated grips aren't that great. They cool down every time you let go of the bar or reach your fingers out for the clutch or brake. I'd focus on gloves.
Home depot has some heated jackets from Dewalt or some other power tool maker. Presumably they've figured out a useful battery system for this - maybe look into that, as I doubt motorcycle heated gloves will work too well as they'd likely need an impractically-sized battery.
