I just got one recently, compard to my bell bellistic the pimp factor is way up there. For the price theres nothing that really compares. I got the white/red/black version, the baby blue is a little too feminine for me. But it is a sweet looking helmet no matter which color you go with.

Remedy in flat black or flat grey, so when it gets dinged up it looks even cooler. mad max, road warrior style. I love mine.

i'm very happy with mine… just be careful you don't damage the metal mesh… mine is still ok, but i've been babying that. looks like it might be easy to puncture.

Some bike mag (mba maybe) I was reading in store yesterday rated 6 helmets and remedy came out on top. Not sure if it was carbon model, I think it was.

What do you mean by metal mesh? Is that the part on the back? What happens if it gets broken?

ya I was just like you… I had the blue mad max 2 for 4 years and decided to get a new helmet. I got the Red Carbon Fiber helmet and noticed a huge difference in weight and venting! I'm not sure if getting a composite you would notice a huge difference but if I were you I would save up for the CF… its only about $80 more (I think its worth it) ps. I put a review for the CR Remedy on MTBR.com

Yeah, I e-mailed Cafe yesterday, I there was a package deal price, if bought at the same time. I won't give it out though. Thanks to everyone who helped.

The only cons I have seen is the helmet is obviously larger than others. The baby blue/brown paint job seesm to the rental helmet of whistler this year. There are a tonne floating around up there.
