Hey,

I was going through all those Interbike 06 pictures, and the new Giant Reign X-series caught my attention. I

I have all the specs and geo on my office wall…its a lot slacker than previous reigns and almost another inch of travel. See…I am hoping its not too DH…heh, I want a better pedaling bike that I can do more XC / all mountain but that can take some hits as well.

My wife has a trance and if the reignX pedals anything like it….it will be great.

It looks like the perfect BC bike as it is…I just need to ride it and a few others on my list….

the reign x is available as a frame set in there catalogue.
I have seen the bike a few times in a few shops. It looks way more solid and
better inperson. There are guys in Kelowna who are buying them as there only do it all bike for lift access biking included who are running slammed fox 40's
down in the travel. I think they will hold up for hits, but dont expect them to
be too plush for dh ripping. They look real solid, maestro is an awesome design, I ran it last year it felit awesome. (Glory)

Yes, I looked into this option and pretty much decided that the Giant Reign X would replace my Heckler. However, I found the deal on the Enduro and the rest is history. Just be aware that $1300 will give you a DHX 3 coil.

Same shock that is on the X1…I want the propedal so when and if I buy one I will upgrade in the store….it's either the X1 or the Transition Covert…having a real hard time deciding between the two…can't wait to ride them.

Bike is soo good man, unbeleivably steady and super light. I would have no negative thoughts to someone who built it up tough and rode it hard.

Give the Scott Ransom 30 a look if you want a nice looking frame (IMO). I just changed the dropouts om mine to 12mm version to cope with some DH-oriented riding this summer.

The Reign seems very nice none the less… But theres always the Nomad… but a guess it
