also, nice to see a clean paintjob with a raw logo instead of a sticker. Most of the bikes on the market are full of weird graphics.

The frame looks odd, like a computer rendering not an actual picture. It must be the lighting/colour.

I'm curious that is below the chainring that looks like it's frame coloured. Custom coloured MRP slider?

probably because the paintjob is a flat/satan finish and not gloss.

The chainguide seems to be painted like you suggest.

I'd like to see that seattube run straight behind the pivot for more seatpost adjustment. But I know most people don't pedal DH bikes uphill anyway

Satan finish is the best.

ps. I think the bike looks kinda weird, but clean as hell. Love the lack of tribal designs…

I also think it looks sort of weird, mainly because the head tube angle and seat tube angle look really steep. It sort of makes the frame look like it was ridden straight into a wall, or has a sub 40"-wheelbase.

Other than that, I like it a lot. Looks extremely clean and I'm really digging the colour.

What did the 09 Glory DH sell for? I'm thinking around $5-6K?

I'll agree that it looks like the Sunday and the older Giant DH bike - the reddish orange and blue one.

As far as we're concerned, its still a proto.
It is lighter, but spec wise, it's hard to tell how it rides until we test it.

It is a custom coloured MRP slider. The same is spec'd on this years bike.

a comparison between this years and the proto, looks like the majority of the frame is lower than this years, i think the bike looks really good a full geo would be nice tho

you know whats funny, i just took the picture from OP, and got the slope of the fork by getting the dimensions of a segment of the fork.
so photoshop created for me a 28x59 frame for that segment, which would mean that the headtube angle is 64.6 degrees. not steep at all. It only looks steep because the toptube angle is very steep compare to this years, which makes the angle between the fork and the frame almost perpendicular. Another reason why the toptube also looks short because it's curvy.

Is anyone still actually looking for plowbikes?

Well with the amount of super light race rigs (88, Sunday, Wilson, Socom) getting merked by bigger/not so smoother riders, i would say yes there is still a market for plow bikes. The whole super light bike is just a fad anyways…
