I am all good for machining on this one, Biggles604 did machine me a couple bit for this one.
One the next one there will be some machining. Are you able to water jet plate?
Oh how I yearn for a waterjet.

Local company with a waterjet. He lives in Lynn Valley and has been spotted in the demo forest on his bike.
Rattle can. Flat Grey.
Also forgot to mention I can powdercoat too…
Curious what the raw material costs for the tubes are?
And yea don't rattle can it.
Rad stuff, and I'm sure a short length of alu steerer tube will be more than strong enough.
treezz
wow you are a ass
Two tone rattle can. I did the front in flat grey but didn't really like it so did the back in flat black.
Gotta build it up tonight. It's test ride will be the Triple Crown tomorrow.

make sure you disassemble all of your other bikes first!

hahah partially done.
I did pull a bunch of stuff off my hardtail last night, but cheated by also putting my other fork back on it.
All build up.

It's a single pivot so no wonder linkage with uber action. I personally like the way single pivots ride. Doesn't bob under power, no funky wallow or strange leverage curve spikes.
Would like to get a shock with a broad range of HSC and LSC adjustment and ability to play with volume for ramp up. A CC Inline or DB CS perhaps. For now the Fox Rp23 boostvalve from my Xprezo feels pretty good.
nice looking stance on'r. nice weight too for chromo. bet its a nice ride.

This is the link Shirk shared with me.

Keep in mind that is US pricing. Was on the phone today with a guy about getting a top tube replaced and he told me he can get Columbus tubing for builds and repairs here in Canada. Says it would cost more for non Columbus as he has to import which brings in the extra costs.
Don't know how much difference there really is between Columbus and True Temper.
And yea don't rattle can it.
Shirk, did you use regular rattle can found at Home Depot or one of those made to order at NAPA?
Curious what the raw material costs for the tubes are?
Tubes are a mix from three different sources.
Top tube and bb from Nova
Seat tube and head tube from True Temper
Down tube and rear swingarm tubes from Aircraft Spruce.
Approx tube cost is $150 plus shipping. Most of it comes out of the US.
For a mtb tubes are relatively cheap, if someone wants to build a lightweight road bike tube costs can easily jump up to $400+ for the chichi stuff.
