so thinking of getting a fullface.. problem is, it's so HOT and BIG.

right now i ride with a "skater" lid and feel pretty confident and it's not like i'm into DH.. any stories from the masses about how a fullface saved their beautiful looks?

Few years ago I saw a dude on a-line with a face covered in blood. His bottom lip was partially torn off.

You can all go to hell. I'll be joining you shortly and I'm bringing beer and cheetos.

hang it off your backpack or handlebar for climbing - wear it for the down. I have lost track of the amount of times my full face has saved my amazing good looks.

Ill be the first to admit that often a fullface seems annoying and in the way.

Until you smack your face on a rock and are very thankful you were wearing it.

spend the coin on a THE carbon or similar lightweight carbon helmet. You won't regret it.

I took a header last weekend and had the bike (pedal + crank area) land on the side of my face. By looking at the big chips on the chin guard, I'm guessing my jaw would have been broken/split open if I had not been wearing the fullface. Thanks Giro Remedy!

a well-vented FF won't any hotter than a non-vented skate lid on the DH. Big, yes.

Also - try the new Kali - I had to do a double take the first time I picked one up - its almost as light as my Giro Xen (ZEN??) (probably a one hit wonder tho…)

I lost it in whistler got bucked and hit my face against a boulder at about 25kph. I still managed to fill my goggles with blood, and I had a fullface. Image if I was wearing my half cut.

I use a carbon fiber THE. Its light and cool enough. I got it on sale at jenson for 100 bucks.

it saves my face and the back of my head when the bike lands on top of me pretty much every time i endo. should probably replace it, actually.
