Fox 38 - What parts are common between 29er and 27.5 / Performance Elite and Perfotmance

Any Fox suspension gurus out there?  I’m trying to figure out the cheapest way to get a 2021 Fox 38 29er Performance Elite (or Factory) fork in 170 mm travel given that I already have a 180 mm Fox 38 27.5 that I could use for parts. Are either the stanchions or lowers common to both? Which part sets the offset?  Are the air shafts and / or dampers compatible between between the two sizes or between performance and performance elite?

Thanks in advance for any insight!

At minimum you'll need a set of 29er lowers.

At that point why not just sell what you have and put the proceeds towards a complete 29er fork? Seems that'd be probably cheapest and definitely easiest....

FAUX does the offset in the CSU.  Basically you're wanting to build an entire fork with spare parts (44mm CSU/29 Lowers/170mm AS) to avoid replacing the damper cartridge and axle.

Sell the 38 and put it towards a 38 29er.

Yep - kind of what I figured but I was looking for a unicorn option given the price and lack of availability on new 29er 38s (or even used ones).  Guess I'll live with what I've got for now until the supply catches up with demand.
