What does everyone think of the new Giro Jacket shoe? Is it worth giving up the Five Tens for or is the Stealth Rubber still the best way to go for riding the shore?

I doubt anyone has even tried the Giro shoes yet… stick with five-ten.

I reckon I'll pick up a set of those and fiveten freerider VXi's next season. Whichever is better will turn into my riding shoe, the other my casual.

I want someone to give me ankle coverage. Like the 510 Rennies that don't exist anymore.

If only my fiveten spitfires would wear out faster I would buy those in a heartbeat, but the damn things are built so well they just won't die.

I have some Teva Links I've only used a few times. They fit me a bit better than my Five Ten impacts but I missed the stickyness of the stealth rubber. I might just sell the Tevas. Also I'm preferring clipless as of late anyway. The Teva clipless shoe has me buy-curious.

Wrong. Always.

This. I find impact soles are too thick and freeriders are too thin. something in between the two…

I'd love some 510s like the Spitfires I have, but with something to tuck the laces in, and made of some tougher leather-like material.
