I havent seen them in the LML. Interestingly, every store has them in Courtenay Comox. It must be our huge puddles. If you can't find them in Van, just call comox bike co and get them to ship you a pair. They are awesome.

Edit: Turns out bicicletta has them fyi. But I'd still by them from CBC.

Kinetik had some Mudhuggers in stock last time I checked. I bought a front fender for the MTB last year and then picked up a F/R set for my cross bike a few weeks ago.

In the past I got them from Lynn Valley. Lately it seems a lot of the island LBS are stocking them. I used to order them from Merlin Cycles in the UK for ~50% of local cost, but they stopped shipping to Canada. MH UK must have told them to stop.

If you're running fox/ohlins/suntour I'd say have a look at these :

http://www.rapidracerproducts.com/products/mudguards/proguard-bolt-on.html

local distributors in North Van (they dropped it off themselves) : https://reciprocators.ca/collections/rrp-proguard-1/products/the-proguard-bolt-on

Bolt on, no zipties or veclro, took 2 mins to install and takes 2 mins to take off which is a huge win for me.

One of my buddies has this on his 36 and it is super solid with lots of clearance.

i put my mudhuggar over the fork brace on my dvo. Just mash it down and zap strap it tight. if i bottom out the fork it bends the fender but no big deal.
