if you ppl would click on links i post you would know what it is: canyon has a patent on a method to alterate the geometry of the bike by a second damping element inside the rocker link, that's why there are 2 fox ctd remote switches on his bike…
Calm down Euro-bro. :france:
just kidding, I know you're not French.

I think we should pretend Sethimus didn't post a link, and spend some time on speculation:
I think it's where Fabien keeps a spare sandwich in case he gets hungry on a long transfer.

should generate you a pdf file of the patent
i put it on dropbox: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/6047226/WO002013029928A1_1-1.pdf
That's seems needlessly complicated for me

don't seetoo many fox guys on 34 any more…
Why do you say that? Are they switching to 36's?
is going big on a bike the only way to get you stoked on the sport? what happened to riding with your bros, travelling, and riding unique places, to get people stoked on riding?
fines are useless. there needs to be more punches to the throat.

i think the new 36 is just as light as the 34 but offers more rigidity needed for the terrain and speed of the course

all of the fox-fork equipped bikes i've seen pictures of from chillan have been sporting 36s. maybe its just/mostly a case of fox wanting to get their newest shiny as much exposure as possible. but i imagine their athletes are happy; i suspect that given their druthers, any gravity rider with a choice would opt for the increased stiffness of a 36 over a 34, to say nothing of the benefits of a real (rc2 vs ctd) damper

I can see that. I sold my Lyrik in the fall and just bought a brand new Float 34 off a friend. It's my first Fox fork and so far all I can say is Meh.

The CTD is just goofy
