I've seen a bunch of EVOC travel bags in the airports when I travel, but never the BikND one.

Anyone have any experience with the BikND bag?:rocker:

Lots of the EVOC bags though.

I'm going Crate Works for my next case. Great design, and everything is strapped in properly. Folds up flat when not in use.

I have the EVOC and it is great.

is going big on a bike the only way to get you stoked on the sport? what happened to riding with your bros, travelling, and riding unique places, to get people stoked on riding?

fines are useless. there needs to be more punches to the throat.

I just got the EVOC after my Crateworks got too beat up after 8/9 years. The EVOC seems to be more easily packed and seems really well thought out. It's going to take both my road and mountain bike. Will report back next month once I've had a chance to use it.

Jon-boy.

22lbs!? isnt that a little bit heavy for something that looks just like a reinforced cardboard box?

I received one of the EVOC bags as a gift last year, and after hauling bike boxes through airports, the thing is a godsend. Is it expensive? Yeah. Will it last forever? Probably. Does it make traveling with a bike slightly less stressful? Absolutely.

It's a super sturdy system, so a bit of weight is to be expected. It's only 5 pounds heavier than the EVOC. Rather safe than sorry. Ever seen how they handle boxes when loading and unloading flights? I would not trust any soft case with my steed.

Evocs were on sale at CRC for pretty cheap, but I think you had to be a preferred customers….

One thing to consider with any box is the combined weight of box and bike. For the X-C or A/M guys this is not so much of an issue, but if you own a DH bike, things can get heavy. Some airlines have a 70# weight limit before they start dinging you with extra fees. Something to consider.
