well coming from a ninja to a cruiser both have great qualities. the harleys are over priced but fun to ride for a couple of hours. The v-rod is a nice bike to ride but I can't stand the sound of the stock pipes on it. Try a vulcan out 1500 cc motor fun to ride and 1/2 the cost of the harley.Just remember that if you loved dragging a knee in the corners you are going to miss that alot with the cruisers.

go ride yer bike

;) now this man knows a thing or two… if you wnat classic style, Indians are damn hard to beat…otherwise it's a Buell or a custom cruiser/choper for me…HD's are for suburban dentists to ride on the weekends.

rrt my ninja was an 86 600rr what a fun bike. carbs had a stage 3 jet kit bored out with suppertrapp tuneable exhaust and k[HTML_REMOVED]N filters. the thing was crazy on gas (100 km per tank) but did it ever rip. It was a wheelie machine!!! When I sold it the motor was done. You may have seen it around it was yellow with burgandy flames outlined front to back. The new owner put a motor in it and is still riding it around vic. I do miss it but my buddies let me take there bikes out when the urge gets to be to much..

Unfortunately Indian went out of business AGAIN!

As for HD's, people don't buy one for performance. They buy one for the look and lifestyle. HD makes more money off the sales of the name than the actual bikes.

Nobody has mentioned Triumph bikes. I almost bought one of these.

But got this instead.

I think so. The bike still scares the shit out of me though. The other day I was on a deserted road by my house and cracked the throttle a bit. 12,500 RPM 126 Km/H in no time flat. Man the acceleration after 7,000 RPM is amazing.:D
