Equivalent (price) to a JR T

Hey, Im looking to trade My JR T for another fork. Its an '04, no scratches on stantions. Im wondering what for kis essentially equivalent, so i have something to trade for ? I need a change, thanks.

are you sure its an 04? I remember when you were thining of buying that bike, it had an 03 on it…

Boxxer Race if you super super lucky. Lots of groms will trade single crowns. Best to just sell for like $250 and save another $150 and look for a used 04 team.

'03 frame, '04 fork

yesterday in whistler, I couldnt find this locking piece i need (its like a bolt to hold down the half dropout clamp) and the guy said

" Dam, this isn't gonna work, sorry bud, this ones for an '03 its fatter"

replace it with an 888vf or rc.

what color are the stanchions?
an 04 would get a little more money, and its pretty easy to tell the diff. cant really pass an 03 off as an 04.

I sold my 04 in early 05 for 200 bucks if that helps any

You want to get the most out of your fork.

Slip in some Super-T internals.

You will have a new ride at minimal cost and will not have to go through the hassle of selling your fork.

I've tried an 04 JrT with 04 SuperT and 03 SuperT internals. Both were lightyears ahead of the stock JrT.

I have an 888vf on my A-line and honest to god, would be happy with either fork. I really loved the feel of the little JrT with the superT internals in them. Smooth as butter.

Small price to pay for the gain you get.

Kook boy, where do I buy super T internals ? Will it give the fork more travel ? Explain more please.

Also, how much does it cost ?

The Super-T has HSCV valving whereas the JrT has SSVF. That's internally. Externally, the only difference is the Super-T has an external rebound adjustment knob whereas the JrT rebound adjustment is done internally.

The Super will out-perform the JrT when going fast and hitting a lot of bumps. The JrT will stackup more compared to the superT too.

Trying to find/search for someone who's done the internals swap. I swear I read on here sometime ago.

If you have an 03-04 JrT, the 03-04 SuperT internals will work.
