ebikebc.com bolt-on kits

anybody know a bit about these? I just read BionX Canada went into receivership so looking for other options. ebikebc seems legit, just looking for opinions. It would be for a Kona Unit 29er...a bolt-on 350X down tube kit. Looking for a kit, not new bike.

Gotham that looks super interesting. Does that attached motor pop on and off fairly easily or once attached it generally stays on?

I have a bike fitted with a GoSwiss hub motor that would work really well for commuting. That might be something worth considering.

Try bike doctor on w.broadway, he does some kits for commuters.

It can be removed pretty easy...we take it off when we fly and then put it back on when we are ready to ride. Or it can be put onto almost any bike with the kickstand plate bracket, or the bottom bracket mount.

We found out about it in Ecuador, but had it shipped to Canada and have been using them since May. I really like how light the entire system is. If/when we are without battery for whatever reason, there is no additional drag, and barely any additional weight...so it's nice. We get 30-50km per battery generally, depending on the terrain.

I like the look of that kit but almost $1700 seems a bit steep...ouch.

<2kg. Unobtrusive. 200w but probably only good for fireroads because the power is on-off. Power delivery lag under these circumstances wouldn't matter.
