Dual Crown Fork Bumpers

Right now I am using some old inner tubes as fork bumpers. They serve their purpose but do not look all that nice on the fork.

Lizard Skins no longer makes fork bumpers. Another suggestion I received was to use a cross bar pad for dirtbikes on each side.

Any suggestions for something else? Thanks.

Lizard Skins were still available when I called QBP this afternoon…

Give your LBS a check.

Their site says they are still available as well.

I use some Roach ones. Came with the fork when I bought them from Trailworker. I would just use a nice thick grip like an Oury.

got to the hardwarestore

they got clear plastic hose in the plumbing section or even the high pressure stuff reinforced with nylon thread, you can slit it down the side [HTML_REMOVED] zap strap it on

I use a piece of the big clear tubing for a chainstay guard ,its like 1.50$ a ft or something

I had QBP send me an email about a week ago. The email said the Lizard Skins bumpers were no longer offered through them. I also called Go-Ride, Kris said Lizard Skins was no longer producing bumpers and he did not have any.

I like the plastic tube idea. Where can I find the Roach ones?

I should have put more info into the first post. The frame is a 2003 Banshee Morphine, the fork a 2003 Manitou Sherman Slider. There are already a few dents in the frame from the top crown on the fork.

I have the drop crown now (Thanks Pip) and it hits the frame with the stock bumpers. Kris at Go-Ride mentioned wrapping inner tubes on the fork, so I did that for now. It works but does not look good.

IFO and others, I looked for the Roach bumpers this morning online and could not find them. Any links?
