Oops, you're right. I they have a rearward offset, but not forward. wonder if you could run it backwards and get a forward offset.

It uses an expanding cylinder as the brake, so in theory it should be more reliable. Comes in 175 or 200mm. Weight is competitive. The head is pretty trick: you can adjust seat angle with out loosening the seat rails.

I'm just trying to justify the increased cost of a 9point8 over say a FOX Transfer or Thomson post. Nothing wrong with both Reverbs I have just they won't be making the jump to another frame.

If one could buy a 9point8 without the remote so one could get a WolfTooth remote that would be pretty bees knees.

Why slag free swag?

ummm, as your doctor i recommend against riding with a scaphoid fracture.

I've got the raceface turbine remote and I'm quite happy with it. The wolf tooth one looks nice too, plus they have the ispec setup.

by the time i justify the cost for a dropper and something with 29" wheels everybody else will be talking about riding one of these…

We don't know what our limits are, so to start something with the idea of being limited actually ends up limiting us.

Yeah, but bikes go in between trees. Those hit trees (remember, they're piloted by guys who can't hit anything in other conditions).

the new Niner RIP 9 RDO looks amazing. 150mm travel in the back, typical LLS new school geometry. would love to see one, they are rare around BC far as i can tell.
not the best website Niner…

LOL funny you mention that I was thinking the same thing , I even stopped by the local shop that carries Norco and they are like a deer in headlights . We have no idea when it will be available is what they said .

I guess Norco slapped a GAG ORDER!! on everyone must be some special secret squirrel shit

I think Jim was on the Sight at the Williams Lake race , I remember looking at his bike and it looked different in some ways , it also had a multi tool attached to the seat post tube above the BB .
