So on my doc i put my seatpost in, all greased like it should be. Anyways now when i try to raise my seat post the aluminum insert comes with it so i cant adjust my seat. Now my question, is this normal or am i running the wrong size seat post?

Mine's been fine - stayed put with no slipping. Try locktite maybe?

If it slipping out, try rubbing chalk on it………lots of chalk. It works wonders and is a quick fix.
