^bd is my go to source for tires. schwalbe longevity (lack thereof) is a bit more palatable at less than $50 a pop.

I agree with you there. The HD's do tend to puke knobs off after a season, but at this price I am very happy with them. Looking forward to trying the new Nobby Nic as a rear (faster rolling and lighter) tire than the HD.

How's Ribble?

Been shopping the LBS for a Fabric Scoop saddle to no avail, and Ribble has the right colour and model in stock.

CRC, Ribble, and Wiggle have been fine for me.

How's Bike24?

Any special advice?

I see they are shipping m8000 series bits and pieces already, and for less it looks like off hand than CRC. Cheaper on some items like shoes, brake pads, tires… But shipping is a flat rate.

They are good. Multiple orders with no issues.

Anyone order from CRC lately and go for the free tracked shipping as opposed to free non-tracked.

Ready to pull the trigger on a Mattoc Pro. Tracking is good but want to make sure it isn't a DHL shipment.

I've emailed them but won't get an answer until Monday at earliest.

Just a heads up, but Jenson free shipping is no longer fast. It sounds like if you qualify for their free shipping promotion, by spending over X amount of dollars, you’re looking at 2-2 1/2 weeks. Ridiculous considering that many local shops will come pretty close to a price match anyway

That's consistent with my previous experience as well. In fact, that's mainly why I order from them. In stock and fast. Every previous purchase was less than 48 hours (even when taking advantage of free shipping promotions), despite them overestimating the projected delivery date at checkout. I didn't realize that there was a new second tier shipping option until I recieved tracking information (ordered Dec 1st). Here's what I received from a rep after inquiring about the hefty delay.

Thank you for providing feedback on our new low cost service to Canada. The service you chose delivers in 2 - 2 1/2 weeks to Vancouver which is what we quote during checkout. We launched this new service for our Canadian customers that are willing to wait longer to receive their order at a lower cost (and free over $150). We still have the same premium UPS service you have used in the past that will deliver in 2-3 days.

We will continue to optimize our shipping options to Canada and hope to have the delivery time to Western Canada for our free/low cost option down to 1 1/2 weeks sometime next year.

check bike-discount.de as well, I had a look at their site the other day and saw alot of M8000 on the market, good prices too. Worked out to about $700CAD for a complete M8000 1x11 groupo (brakes, rotors, cranks, derailleurs, shifters etc). Pretty smoking deal, CRC can't even come close to touch that..

Bloody hell. Against my better judgement I ordered some brakes from CRC.

Sent out Mar 30th and still nothing. I chose "Untracked".

Anyone order from them using this method? If so, how long did it take to get to you?

I ordered a new groupset last week. I can't remember what the shipping details were but it arrived 4 days later.

I find its the luck of the draw with shipping from overseas.

Be more patient. It hasn't been that long considering where it's coming from and via the free shipping method.

I've ordered from them about 20 to 30 times… It's never taken more than ten calendar days to get to my door in all those times.

Zee German's who've been getting my Shimano money as of late, get it to me through Canada Post in under ten days. I shoulda stuck with bd.
