I've got one that's 4 years old, machine-built (front wheel), never been trued, been on 7 mostly jumping bikes, and I can still run a v-brake on it if I was so inclined. Very impressed.

yeah I got one laced to 20mm marzocchi hub, came stock from a 02 Stinky I think it was. I keep it for a spare, same design as rhynolite…rhynolites are an underrated rim, the welded(xl) is one of the hardest wheels to get a tire on or off.

I think you should make a mobile with your ditch witch rim, Roach stem pad, brake booster, and (I'm assuming) Giro Switchblade, etc.

You could call it "1998" and sell it to the art council of canada.

Well yeah, but ideally they'd be Purple Hayes.

The Ditch Witch was the same profile as the Rhyolite XL, slightly wider than the standard Rhynolite.

Except pinned instead of welded, no eyelets and no machined sidewall.

Also I think the Ditch Witch was made in Taiwan (for OEM) while the Rhynolite XL was made in the US.

Edit: To answer enduramil,

It's actually a pretty decent rim if built properly but has a bad reputation because of shitty oem wheel builds.
