I have one of these bad boys… http://www.alibaba.com/product-detail/Yoeleo-Super-Light-Chinese-Carbon-Road_1553549389.html

Pretty sure I could filet a salmon with the rear of the saddle, I can imagine what it would do to my nether regions. I rode with it once around the block then promptly tossed it in my closet!

You must be packing some serious heat or riding a very poorly adjusted saddle man, I was thinking about you on my ride home today…I've got a brooks saddle on my commuter and its not shaped very ergo at all, I still ain't crushin the family jewels. Might want to consider going into a shop for a fitting?

Those?
I ride the wide 143mm
Espacio Libre and it is fantastic.

Dick still works and my girl is a rider, too ;-)

Yes these are what I was thinking of. Mixed reviews between you and the poster below?

I was thinking more as a preventative measure as my current saddle annoys me and needs to be replaced any way.

Any modern WTB is pretty comfy to me. I ride a speed v - probably my favorite. The specialized saddles feel awkward for me. Overstuffed, always making you sit to one side or the other and the back notch always catches your shorts.

I'd be willing to let you try mine, but I'd like to make sure you don't disappear and I never see you again as soon as it's mounted to your bike. I have the 143mm version.

the extreme dick safe saddles have no nose at all just a couple of pads for the sitz bones, I seen them work for a bud who's prostate was bothered by a normal saddle

As for adjustment everyone is different but I like my saddle nose high as oposed to flat

I third this. I love my Trailmaster LTD…just a great saddle. I also have a Chromag Moon that I thought I would hate…but I like it quite a bit too.

WTB Volt. Swapped it in for the SDG torture device that came on my bike.

Yeah, it's pretty good. I'm on a hardtail though and even on a steel 29er I can sometimes get numbness down there. The best cure I've had so far is better chamois. Those MEC liner chamois suck ass. I've got a thicker one that was a removeable liner from some Fox mtb shorts and it's way better.

Any other recommendations on decent liners/chamois?

Or should I go Full Suspension? Haha.

Wrong. Always.

the castelli endurance bibs from MEC are $$$ but the padding is really good and bibs sure are comfy, Italian fit so I went up a size

The mec liners are better than no liner and they are cheap

I have a bunch of WTB Volt saddles that I don't use as I find them too flat. (My wife didn't like them either.)

I do like the WTB Rocket [HTML_REMOVED] Laser models though.

She is a fan of the old Ti version of the Speed She (no longer made).

As for chamois shorts, I'm a fan of the mid to high end Pearl Izumi. If you do a road trip down to Bend, Oregon check out their factory store.

True, far better than nothing. I think I need to put a bit more $ into my choice though.
:mullet:

Wrong. Always.
