like changing bearing is such a hard duty.
I was talking more about chainstay/seatstay. and other great deals of 05/06 new.

Oh for f%#k sake.:P When you are living on your own, with a family, a job, and riding happens not so often the last thing you want to be doing is rebuilding your bike.

What's better - changing your bearings every 3 months or once a year?

Regardless, Thedude, buy the new Heckler!

heckler is one bike where you may never even need to touch the bearings.

that's one place where you can't argue the effectiveness of a single pivot! so simple and durable when done correctly.

1.5 years on my Six, I've replaced two bearings and need to replace another couple. Bearing replacement is a 2 hour job tops, and if you look after your bike, then you can just integrate it into the regular cleaning routine.

Can't fault the bearings on a Heckler, mine were fine over a year after first buying the bike. That's extremely good for me since I can usually get 2-3 months out of cartridge bearings on every other bike I've owned. My Ollie went a year with good bearings, but I replaced two anyway before I sold it.

Point? I like needle bearings! :P

I spent three seasons on an already slightly used Heckler (2003-2006 version). It was/is really a great bike. I didn
