Yes it was. I'm pretty sure Brad Proctor from PTF is the same guy that opened Off the Edge in Sechelt back in the late 90s/2000s. I recall him saying he used to build frames. I also read Kim Steed's father in law is the Townsend. Neat history.

They seem to be a real rarity from the research I've done.

I believe Jim Moulden started out building frames for Brad, before starting to make his own frames under his own name, at his own shop.

I found this is one of my bins. I'm guessing circa 2001. Carve. Pretty sure it was machined in BC. 31.8 clamp, which is all we had back then. Maybe 20' of rise, 55mm extension. Huge hardware. A lovely piece of  metal.

Awesome. Actually had 3 versions, 25.4 and 31.8 bars, plus 31.8 with 1.5 steerer. Fun project. All the CNC code was manually written, and I had a crazy setup on a Mori-Seiki horizontal mill.

I'm guessing I probably ordered it directly from him off his website. Point him to this thread. I loved that stem. I don't currently need its rise but I love having it around.

Hi, just replied one post above. Thanks for your feedback. Lots of Carve pedals still around too, plus some old school rock rings and brake boosters.
