So i have a similar fork bike problem.

I have a 2008 stump-jumper. Non tapered 1 1/18" steer. The stock fox 32 talus is getting tired.
I want to get a new/newer longer travel fork. Ideally a fox 32 talus 120-150mm or even a fox 34 of sorts.

My issue is all the modern forks are now tapered steer!

Can i use the same sort of mismatched headset to solve my problem?

Do they make a headset that will accommodate a tapered steer in a standard 1 1/8th steer tube?
