Eventhough the bearings are rebuildable the lower bearing race falling off when taking the fork off is not a solid design in my books. The bearings are defnitely not as good as a King. I think that in most cases we'd take king product for their bearings before we'd take them for their overall design, as in some people have problems ith the hubs binding or being loose without a happy medium, and issues as Tim expressed with the headset wearing a groove (which i have heard of before).
The bottom bracket I do not see any issues with. there are no pattents on design of special wedges to hold tension, or complex parts such as a ring drive to complicate things. The BB i'm totally sold on.
As for headsets I've been running a CrankBrothers Opium C directset all season without any issues or maintenance. Its got a super low stack height which I really like, and the bearings are nice and smooth. The headset has never come loose on me. I'd definitely suggest one.
