Chainless question

corey, the real reason to go chainless is for the experience :)

as mentioned it teaches you to be smooth and carry speed (e.g. ride seymour chainless, like 90% or more of cbc/pangor you don't need a chain) and i personally believe it can actually help you become a better rider…

plus it's even neat to be without all the drivetrain noise… when i ride w/out a chain i can actually only hear the damping on my shocks… which is kind of cool because normally i can't hear it at all.

yeah anyways

Chainless IS NOT the way to go for DH..And A-LINE is not a good example of what downhilling is.

Take your "chainless is the way to go" set up to the DH track, and you'll get smoked. Bad. **

THANK YOU
THANK YOU

I suck at biking, and even I can get big air on A-line. BIG air. It's pie!

Also, sometimes you have to slow down for stuff, like people or fallen riders, and after you want to get going again, without running alongside your bike and jumping on.
But you know, all the experts are apparently doin it, I mean Kamakazi said "it's the way to go" so shit I better jump right on that bandwagon.

I thought chainless was just a "look at me!" in the liftline tactic.

Maybe it still is?
