Running a Bruiser last year and a half.

Haven't dropped a single chain during that time, but yesterday when I flipped my bike over I noticed the horrendous amount of damage this bashguard has absorbed. So glad I decided to bolt on a bash.

I am wondering how people are protecting their single ring direct mount?

The Blackspire Crusher Taco bash guard looks like a good option, what else are people running?

is going big on a bike the only way to get you stoked on the sport? what happened to riding with your bros, travelling, and riding unique places, to get people stoked on riding?

fines are useless. there needs to be more punches to the throat.

I'm running no bash guard or ring. I was concerned about this when I first went 11 speed.. but really.. its a non issue.

I cam running a bash ring on my dh bike, but thats a different situation.

Zing!

I also am in the "no taco/bash" camp. I've mashed my ring once, and I'm on a 32t 1x11 system. I'm curious if we'll see the return of the taco/bash since the new 1x12 recommends a 34-36t ring…

Ride, don't slide.

I like the looks of that one up.

Pretty good value at $95 considering it includes three sizes of bash guard.

I've been wanting a taco style guard and just recently I had a bizarre unchainjng the other day that has made me think maybe a small guide is a good idea.

I am protecting my single ring direct mount.

I just took a E-13 LG1 and cut the lower guide sprocket off. ZERO issues and never dropped a chain.
