The hub is probably equipped with an HG driver so you would need to stick to that standard unless you want to buy a new freehub.

Do you just want an easier climbing gear for your 1x setup? If so might be more cost-effective to stick with 10-speed and get a wider range cassette rather than move everything to 10- or 11-speed. Are you using Shimano or Sram?

What's your budget? Easiest route is going 11 speed Shimano 11-46T cassette, you'll need a new shifter, derailleur and cassette. You can get this done at cheap as $300 ish (deore/slx) or you can go up in the product line and spend a bit more for something a bit fancier (XT-XTR level).

Here is a 10 speed wide range cassette --> https://www.microshift.com/products/groups/advent-x/

You'll need to verifying the ability of your derailleur to handle a 48T cog.

I think Sunrace also has several wide range 10 speed cassettes that fit HG freehubs, from 11-40 to 11-46.

I ran 10 speed 11-42 with an X9 derailleur for 2 seasons, the shifting wasn't super smooth but it worked and was a cheap solution.

Assuming your current derailleur will support a wide range cassette that's a job any LBS can tackle without much trouble. I'd just use GMaps to see what bike shops are close to you and give them a call.

What size chainring do you have? Could you go smaller?

The easiest, cheapest way to get easier climbing gears.

Pre-covid, ~$300 (parts only) is what I had come up with to convert from 2x9 to 1x11 with a mix of mid-range stuff, so $370 now sounds about right.

You'll need to verifying the ability of your derailleur to handle a 48T cog.

This is probably the easiest/cheapest way to go. Then add a M6000/7000/8000 rear derailleur which would get to the 48t without any issues. The 11 speed rear derailleur will work with 10 speeds with 97% functionality. Then add a $30 10sp chain to get to the bigger cogs
