sup, I have a 03 bighit comp. I have an azionic love seat on it and love it. But my problem is, is that all the bolts i use keep on snapping, and when i do find a good one, it loosens its self. The seat post is looking prety ratty. Will a new seat post fix this problem?

r u using ther stock seatpost that comes on the BIGHIT?
if so replace it with another brand…
the stock seatpost is a hella cheap unit…
a 30$ 2-bolt post should solve your problems….
such as something like this:
your best bet would probably be to just replace the seatpost. is it a one-bolt post? if so, look for a double-bolt post. they work great.

BMX posts are usually 1" or so, far to small for many MTB's. Plus the average weight is 1 pound!!!!
