Still trying to convince myself on a Chromag - leaning more to Rootdown than Stylus as I can pull the front end off and run my Warden mullet if I want to. Waffling on a M/L vs a L. Only one more day for the sale.

It's worth throwing a leg over both sizes if you can.  I read somewhere that hardtails typically feel about 15mm to 20mm longer in the reach department than a full suspension and was expecting a M/L Rootdown to fit me perfect with its 463mm reach (my full suspension fits great with a reach of 468mm) and I was surprised how small it felt.

I still think the M/L is probably the right size for me - but I would like to try an L before purchasing for sure.

I'm pretty sure there will be more sales coming soon; boxing day, new years, lunar new year...

how about just posting deals?  Take the tech talk somewhere else.

What better deal is there anywhere in this thread than popping a couple of 5mm spacers into a dropper post that’s already paid for instead of buying a new one?

This thread is for vultures.  Go ride your single speed gravel bike to a mechanics thread.

LOL. ManDrew saved me $4-500. Ordered a WAO rim set and Onyx hubs from NOBL in the spirit of vulturing.

BOGO!

That's nuts. The Kona team sold at the right time.

That came across my group chats and I was tempted - I can’t really afford a bike but we were gunna make it work cause it’s a sick deal…

…but none of the Processes really get me going and there are a tonne of sick deals out there so I took a pass. Meh. I bet there will be some killer Kona deals coming down the pipe as things get shook up.

The current process is a few years old. My feeling is that the new, revised model is ready for store shelves and they are moving soon to be dead stock before the spring release of whatever is replacing the current Process.

I also wouldn’t be surprised if the dealer network get a bit shook up in the next little bit, leading to some clear out prices from the shops.

Details on the lyric?

If you sign up for their newsletter you get an additional 20% off.

I got the Lyric Select+. Same Charger 3 RC2 damper and air spring as the latest Ultimate, just minus the buttercups and longer bushings. It's made a noticeable improvement on how my bike rides compared to the Charger 2.1 Lyric.

Awesome, thanks, grabbed one. Was hoping to bump up to a 160 but couldn't pass up on that + deal.

Have you had a chance to try your Lyric yet? I'm curious what you think about it.

Seems like the cycling gear overstock sales are still abundant.

EKOI running a sale on helmets and shoes (more road and gravel oriented) - just updated some things at 60%off

POC also clearing out some helmets stock at great discounts.

Heads up - I bought one from Caps cycle in new west about a month ago with an extra 20% off that price. Not sure if that deal is still going.
