Water bottle compatibility has zero bearing on my decision to buy a bike or not. Nice to have, but absolutely not a concern at all to me.

Me too. I don't like strapping stuff to my bike.

Tons of good bikes that fit a bottle inside the front triangle, I wouldn't get one that doesn't (except dh or jump bike)

Plus I love my camelbak. Fanny packs are supper trendy right now
