2018 Transition Patrol- GX build - Really interested in the SBG and the supposed 1/2 decent pedalling (Pro: Long low and slack) (Con: Shitty paint? shitty wheels)

vs

2016 Knolly Dellirium - Supreme Leader build - Not much to say here...Supreme build(Pro: Long low and slack) (Con: read that its not a pedaller)

coming off a 2017 Spesh Enduro

Ride in the following in order

1) Burke - Above Green Gate

2) Cypress- New and Old School

3) Seymour 7th down

Ended up picking up the PATROL- so far loving it and it feels better than the Spesh..

WHAT? Off a 2017 Specialized Enduro.

Man, you already have a great bike, what's lacking with your Enduro?   The Patrol is very similar, except maybe a bit longer.  With the updated 2018 link, the Enduro is just as low ans slack (it's a $50 piece on the 27.5 model).  If you're looking for more DH chomps, you can swap in a coil Ohlins or X2 shock and call it a day.

The Knolly is a bigger hitter, so there, you would find more a difference, but it's heavier and arguably a slower pedaler, especially if you set it up with a 180mm fork or a dual crown.

I'm think quite highly of the Enduro, I own a 2017 E29 with the updated 2018 link, great bike.

Ya your right, the Spec Enduro 650b is a really good bike.  One thing I didn't get on with, was the feeling of sitting on top of the bike, instead of being in it. I ended up selling it recently in haste thinking in my mind I'd get into a newer/different bike(Bronson/Nomad) then had a reality check...So now my mind on what bike to get to fill the void

Go to north shore bike shop and test the patrol. Then go over to comor and test the knolly and I’d also recommend the e29. If either shop has a demo, check a bike out for a lap.

Shit, go test the Bronson/Nomad too. Revised lower shock position has it looking all new and hot.

I test rode a knolly warden at a demo day and at first I didn't think much of the pedalling but that was on the fire road. Once I hit the trails I am found it to be excellent. The excellent small bump compliance of the bike makes for a little more Bob I thought but once on a bumpy trail the bike felt great. Going down it gobbled everything. Really nice bike.
