It is nuts. I sold a couple old bikes last year and they were gone in a matter of a day or two and at the price asked. 26ers at that!

the prices on old parts and old bikes is pretty crazy, old junk even tires I would thro out are " Vintage "

yesturday I seen an old Kona HT on FB for same price I paid 20 yrs ago,  I don't get it

I have a buddy that keeps sending me classifieds for opinions on bikes he is hoping to purchase. Last one was a 2004 (?) Trek Bruiser that was the same price as the bike cost new. It needed tires and stuff. I remember selling those things in university and they wouldn't have necessarily been a good choice even then.

As a result I recommended a pair of rollerblades or maybe a skateboard until things cool down.

Are we looking at the beginning of drastic inflation?

New bikes all went up $500, used bikes doubled, and it sounds like cool old cars have followed the same trend.

Most probably I think. Housing is going up everywhere too, the only thing not going up is the wages.

Anybody have a 216x63 rear shock that you might be willing to part with?

I think 216x63 is the same as 8.5x2.5. I have that Manitou Evolver ISX-6 shock I use to use on my old Nomad.

It was rebuilt by S4 suspension before I started using my coil shock full time. Yours if it fits.
