I am looking for all mountain/cross country 26" tubeless tires. Where are some good places for selection/pricing in Metro van?
Best place for tubeless tires?

You will be hard pressed to find any shops that carry any selection of 26" tires. MEC carries some, but most other shops keep almost none on the shelves.

especially if you are after 2.0 or 2.1
I just picked up some 26x 2.3 K-rads's at Velocity in Langley.
Your 0.02 opinion is worthless. Since Feb 2013, pennies have to be rounded down. Sorry.
the right people don't go to a bike store … we buy all our shit on-line
Check out North Shore Bike Shop - they seem to be very well priced on Maxxis ($80 for a Minion TR/EXO/3C) and pretty sure they have a good selection of 26" in stock as well.

Yet I wonder what the prevalent tire size is for all the mountain bikes that are still being ridden around from the last 30+ years is….. No wonder people buy on-line.
treezz
wow you are a ass
Lynn Valley Bikes has a bunch of maxxis 26" if you are looking for minions dhf and dhr

Yeah I just had to do a bulk order online for a bunch of 26" tires. Multiple bikes in the family means I need multiple tires. No selection, high price and long wait mean the LBS lost out.
I've had little problem getting most 26" tires online and within the week. Hell I have two Magic Marys and a DHF wire beads sitting in my living room as I type!
Why slag free swag?
ummm, as your doctor i recommend against riding with a scaphoid fracture.
I got my 26x2.30 DHR II minions for 67$ each, some orange sealant and a new Beto floor pump in person at MEC but I also wondered if 26" bikes suddenly quit needing tires ??
I would go 27.5 if I got a new bike but there is still lotsa life left in the old 26'r
